Christmas Gift

Kristin got me a set of these awesome headphones for Christmas. As I am working in a cube all day with people humming around me and yacking with co-workers these will come in handy. I have to say that the noise canceling aspect to them really does make a difference - while it does not totally block out all noise, it does a good job of silencing the little annoying buzzes etc and lets you focus on the music.

Christmas Cookies

Christmas Day was very quite, and so I decided to help decorate our Christmas cookies. These are a tradition and it wouldn't be X-Mas without them.

We had planned on spending Christmas with Kristin's family in Santa Cruz, but our host fell ill and so we spent the day relaxing and sitting by the fire.

Chirstmas Eve

Kristin and I went to my Brother's house for Christmas Eve and had a wonderful dinner. Below is a picture of me in a funny Santa Hat holding my nephew Dylan (aka "Baby D").

My brother Russ gave me a funny gift of a 14" Carl Spangler (from the movie Caddyshack) which moves and says lines from the movie (such as "So I have that going for me... which is nice!" and "Cinderella story, former groundskeeper about to become... the master's champion").

It was nice to get together with everyone and to watch the kids open their gifts. The hit of the evening seemed to be the Tigger we bought for Baby D - they couldn't stop pressing him and watching as he bounced up and down.
