I'm on Spring Break

Today was my last day at Schwab, so I am officially on "Spring Break"! The last few weeks of work were a little stressful, trying to make sure I left the group in good hands, but now I am off on my next adventure.

Kristin and I have planned a trip down the coast and LA (Marina Del Ray) in a few weeks, and then it will be back to work. In the interviewing I have done so far, there seems to be no shortage of work in San Francisco which is good news. I should not have a difficult time find work and have applied to a few positions already at Schwab.

Otherwise it is time to get in shape, play a little disc golf, World of Warcraft, and enjoy my Spring Break!

Jordan III

I ordered these Jordan III (retros) from Eastbay when they came out and they arrived today.

I have a few pairs of this style, but this is the first ones in UNC colors... so I had to get them. I haven't been buying nearly as many shoes as of late, mostly because I can't find any that I like, and so when one of my favorites are released in a colorway I love - well just say this was an "easy" sale. :P

Tarheels Lose!

Well my beloved UNC Tarheels 2006-2007 Season came to an abrupt end this afternoon when G'Town beat us in overtime. It appeared that we had the game won with 5 minutes to play, but I guess the players felt the same way I did and when the Hoyas put on their final push the Tarheels could not respond and lost in overtime.

I think if all the players come back we will be favored to win it all, but that is a big "IF". Overall I think it was a very good season - we beat DUKE twice, won the ACC tourney for the first time in years and came up one point short of the final four. The team was made up of a lot of freshman, talented freshman without question, but freshman usually have a hard time playing consistently and that was our downfall this year.

While it is disappointing to not be in the Final Four, our future is bright and our team did pretty darn well!!
