New Car!

Kristin has a new Prius!! We bought this today, after doing a few weeks of research and then working to sell her old Acura RSX, we decided to go ahead and purchase it now - at the end of the month and in the hopes of getting a little better deal.

The car has a ton of features, such as: keyless entry, back-up camera, bluetooth (for wireless phone and iPod connections), GPS, Navigation. That is way more goodies than I my BMW has, and all in a car that will get over 40 miles to the gallon!!

The inside is bigger than you expect, especially in the front seat where the dash lights and gauges are close to the windshield. Granted the picture doesn't make it seem like it, but that is because Kristin needs to be able to reach the brake and gas pedals.

It rides very smooth and uber quiet, half the time you don't even know whether the car is on at all.

We are still trying to sell her previous car, and hope that we can do it in the next few weeks. But in the mean time, we are 2 people with 3 cars!

UNC in Final 4

The Tarheels made it all the way to the Final 4!  This has been a great year for them as the won the ACC regular season and the tournament, and now have made it out of their region (which was player entirely in North Carolina ;) ).  Let's hope the ride keep going!!

Tarheels ACC Champs

Way to go CHAMPS of the ACC!!

My Tarheels not only beat DUKE to take the regular ACC season championship, and thus set themselves up for a #1 seed in the NCAA tournament, but they also claimed the ACC tournament championship. I can't remember the last time they did that.

Can a final four appearance and/or a National Title be far away??

New shoes - Jordan XX3

Well after much waiting and wondering how NIke and JB (Jordan Brand) would distribute this shoe and in what kinds of quantities, I finally got my hands on the new Jordan XX3's. I played in them today and they fit and preformed fairly well. My only complaint is that the tongue of the shoe is pretty narrow and so sometimes slides to the side and shows your sock. (Yes, I realize that is a bit of a nit pick) :D

Otherwise the shoe is nice and light and has good traction. I just hope my knee improves to the point where I can take advantage of these shoes.
